Help Us Honour the Life of Mark Anthony Symes
With great sadness, we share the sudden passing of Mark Anthony Symes, who died on Friday, 21st March while doing what he loved — riding his motorcycle near his home in Thailand.
Mark leaves behind a loving mother and two beautiful boys here in Australia, as well as his devastated partner, Nancy, in Thailand.
Mark was a driven businessman who often projected a tough exterior, but those who truly knew him saw the big heart beneath. He was a man deeply committed to giving back and supporting causes close to his heart.
He was a passionate supporter of Destiny Rescue (destinyrescue.org.au), an organisation working tirelessly to save children from sexual exploitation and human trafficking.
Mark was also actively raising funds to support a local orphanage in Thailand, the Ban Sam Yaek Hua Phut School, continuing his mission to uplift those in need.
He also stood by Men’s Medicine (mensmedicine.work), a group he credited with helping him through some of his darkest times.
Mark’s dedication to making a difference was unwavering.
He helped and mentored many start-up businesses — often at no cost — just to help others get through the early stages of their business journey.
Whether through his support for others or his quiet acts of kindness, he left a lasting impact on many lives.
In honour of his love for Thailand and the life he built there, his family has chosen to hold his funeral in Thailand. We’re raising funds to help cover funeral expenses and provide support to Nancy during this incredibly difficult time.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will help us give Mark the farewell he deserves.
Thank you for your love, support, and generosity.
