Mark Andreychenkos Ulcerative Colitis

Our 13 year old brother Mark has been experiencing abdominal pain and blood in the stool. He was rushed to the ER and was undergoing testing and examinations. After nearly a week, they discovered swelling and bleeding in his intestines and diagnosed him with Inflammatory Bowel Disease. He has been hospitalized for over two weeks, and has been on all kinds of medication and steroids. He has been losing a lot of blood and doctors are yet to discover why they cannot stop the bleeding. He is currently taking 8 types of medications a day. The insurance my parents have will only cover about 65% of the cost of the stay at the hospital, medications and treatments my little brother has been undergoing.
