Mark and Molly’s home flood restoration
On October 31st, around 11pm. Molly and Mark’s world got flipped upside down. They were in the heart of the devastation the floods brought. They had to immediately evacuate their home, bringing only the essentials they could carry as water came rushing into the house, forcefully collapsing the foundation and filling at a devastating rate. They left their home carrying their bags and pets through three feet of water to the Whitesboro library where their cars were parked. They lost almost everything in this tragedy and are displaced from their home for many months to come, staying with family. The insurance companies are saying that they will be providing very minimal coverage. Today was supposed to be a happy day, as it was supposed to be their house warming(they just bought this, their first home). Instead, they spent today pumping 10 feet of water from their home and throwing so so much away. It is a devastating, heart breaking tragedy. Having to take only what you can save: pictures, memories, some clothes as the fire department deemed their home unlivable, predicting it to completely collapse at any moment. Any little bit can help them, they have a long road ahead. Thank you everyone ❤️
