UPDATE: This campaign began as a request for help with medical expenses for my brother Mark's COPD/Lung disease. We are so grateful to all who have responded with their financial support. As of this update Mark had used roughly $4,000 of the money donated for prescriptions to fight his illness.
With heavy hearts we must tell you that Mark passed away in the early hours of Thursday, February 21st.
Unfortunately, over the last eight years his wife Luava was unable to work because she needed to be close by Mark to nurse and support him. The lions share of their income over those years was Mark's disability payments. With his passing Luava is faced with navigating the lose of her husband of 42 years with no immediate source of income to cover cremation and living expenses.
It could be up to 90 days before she can secure a consistent income going forward. If you can, please consider a donation and/or sharing this page with your family and friends to help Luava thru this interim period until she can settle Mark's affairs and secure a regular income.
