Katie Deperalta has spent years as the primary care giver to her husband Mark who was left permanently disabled from brain cancer. Katie even went back to school and earned a degree to get a better job.  Things have always been tight for them, but they have always been generous to those with less. A while back they relocated to a less expensive life style and hopes that Katie could retire. Mark fell ill and had to have surgery to to remove a large mass from his stomach and that set them back financially once again. 
They have worked and negotiated and are making payments on that surgery only to find out that Katie now needs surgery to remove a malignant tumor. The surgery will cost around $12000 and because they have a previous balance has to be prepaid. We are asking for any help anyone can give to get them going in the right direction for a change.
