My husband Mark passed away suddenly Jan 21, 2017.  He had stage 4 copd. And suddenly got ill Sunday night. Was admitted to the hospital that day. He was then airlifted to Henery Ford in Detroit on Wednesday. I was blessed to have been able to talk to him even tho he was not able to talk to me. However my daughter was a smart one she wrote down the alphabet and he pointed to each letter.  Just to commuicate with us for the short time that we were able to talk to him. Thursday night we had to make a decision that would change our lives. Friday morning Marks children and family gathered to say their goodbyes. Today at 2:32pm I lost not only my husband but my friend. Our family has lost a father, brother, uncle, and cousin. All in all Mark has been our famlies cornerstone. We lost our glue today. He was the one who has always made you smile and laugh. Even on Thursday when we were able to talk to him he was still trying to make us laugh.
