Hello, my name is Misty Adams. I was the partner of Marjorie Sayles, and we shared our home in Downey for 7½ wonderful years.

Over the past six years, Marjorie battled many serious health issues three of her organs were failing, and she endured so much pain and sickness. On Thursday, October 30, 2025, Marjorie went into cardiac arrest. Medical teams worked tirelessly for 55 minutes before they were able to get her heart beating again. She was transferred to Portneuf Medical Center, where she was placed in the ICU on life support.

Though doctors didn’t think she would make it through the night, Marjorie fought hard and held on for several days. Unfortunately, her condition didn’t improve. Her pupils remained fixed, and reflex tests showed no response. Multiple brain scans revealed swelling, indicating a severe brain injury caused by a lack of oxygen.

On November 3, 2025, we made the heartbreaking decision to remove her from life support. Marjorie passed away peacefully at 6:49 p.m. surrounded by love.

Now, I am faced with the painful task of planning her funeral. Sadly, Marjorie did not have funeral insurance, and the costs are more than I can manage on my own.

I am asking for help to give Marjorie the beautiful and dignified service she deserves a final goodbye that honors her strength, her kindness, and the love she gave to everyone around her.

Any amount, no matter how small, would mean the world and help ease this heavy burden. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your support, love, and prayers during this devastating time.
