Welcome to our IVF journey!
This is one of the hardest things we ever had to write and debated for a while if we should even take it this far to post on social media. Nevertheless, our supporters, our family and friends have encouraged us to reach out to the world that we are worthy enough to ask for your support to continue our dreams to start a family of our own one day.
My husband and I, have been married for 13 years. We were the best friends throughout childhood. Who would of known that my future husband to be was by my side all of this time. That makes our relationship so special because we know each other so well. I love his sense of humor and his passion for life. He is such a family man and devotes his time with his sisters and mother, especially during the holidays. He loves to take risks and always pushes to get things done for us. He is definitely my soulmate. Not being able to get pregnant has been hard for us but he always encourages me to remain strong. I am so lucky to have him by my side and stay supportive on this journey.

I have been working full time as a registered diagnostic sonographer, specializing in ob/gyn. I really love my job and get to help mothers have an experience that are dependent on the images that I take. The passion I have for sonography keeps me positive that one day I will be able to have a baby of my own. I reflect a diverse personality including ambition and the qualities of generosity and thoughtfulness. I encourage fighting for what you desire and believe in. I am a firm believer in prayer because nothing great comes easy and with God everything is possible.
After three years of being married, we were ready to start a family of our own. We tried multiple times and unfortunately no success. Many people told us not to think about it and it will come. I came to a conclusion that I would never get pregnant, however, I am a firm believer in prayer and stay positive that God has a plan for me. With this in mind, we continued our journey and decided later on that we would see a fertility specialist for a consult. Indeed, this was all new to us and had a lot to learn after our visit. After trying various medicines, surgery, and procedures, IVF was the next step in our infertility journey.
I know that a mother’s role, is one that I can handle. I am missing this experience and would love to fulfill my dream of getting pregnant one day. Please, we ask for your support and assistance in IVF fertilization. This would assist us financially, as you know IVF is very expensive and no insurance covers this.
Thank you for reading our page and we hope from the bottom of our hearts that you see us as worthy candidates for your donation. Anything helps! As well as your prayers! We know that we are absolutely committed to our goal of parenthood and hope that you will support our journey. Thank you so much!
Sincerely,
Maritza & Elmer
