Maritza Behrens

In honor of our beautiful warrior Maritza and her battle with cancer, we’ve started this fundraiser that will raise money to help her husband, Alex, and her family pay for her funeral and medical expenses. Miss. Maritza was a part of our Montessori family for over 20 years. She started as a teacher in our toddler class, then moved on to teach in our 3-6 year old class. Coming to school was not a job for her. She drove two hours a day to be with us, even while battling cancer. The first thing she wanted to do the minute she got out of the hospital on various occasions was to come to school and be with your children and her Muss family. The love and support that has been pouring in shows how much she has touched everyone’s lives. Her memory will live on forever through all of us.
