Greetings family and friends!
Thank you all for taking the time to check out my page and support my upcoming mission trip! For those of you that may not know, I am currently in my 7th quarter at Life University in Marietta Ga. This is a very important quarter for me because I’m officially getting prepared to step into student clinic next quarter, which is why this mission trip is huge for me! It will give me a solid foundation and prepare me, humble me, and help me gain that confidence needed to change the lives of those I adjust.
On March 27th, 2020 I will embark on a 6 day Humanitarian service trip to Mexico. I will spend six days serving the beautiful people of Mexico with students and doctors from around the country.
I’m traveling with 50 or so students from Life University. This is a committed, focused, loving and highly intentional group of people who’s desire is nothing less but to serve these people at the highest levels possible. Once we arrive in San Diego, we’ll drive into Mexico with our trip coordinators, Drs. Bradley Rauch and Sukhi Muker. These gentlemen run the organization Cross Borders Chiropractic. Why a Humanitarian trip? Humans crave connection and yet they’re disconnected internally. This trip is dedicated to cultivating us as healing facilitators of this Life experience and ALL that it has to offer for people on our tables and soon enough, in practice. There is an overwhelming amount of input in the world that comes through our spinal system. It’s the tunnel of where life is processed emotionally, physically and spiritually. There is an art to maximizing this brain body connection. Research has shown the spinal tension and torsion impact the function of the nervous system and can lead to states of dis-ease and disconnection that eventually turn into the symptoms that manifest so commonly into neck pain and low back pain. The better the brain body connection, the higher quality of accurate adaptations the body can make that deal with respiration, digestion, proper muscle function and awareness in space. With disconnection the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being of a person will be lowered. With that being said, we are looking to reconnect the disconnected.
Why do I need your help? In order to make this trip a reality it will require money. My goal of $3000 will cover all potential expenses...flights, food, ground transportation, portable table, and lodging. Food and proper hydration is extremely important given the conditions and volume of people we will be serving.
