My sister Marissa has been battling a serious illness and has been hospitalized since May of this year. Unfortunately, the prognosis is terminal and this is not the outcome we have been praying for. To know Marissa is to love her. She has the best smile and is the kindest soul I know. She is always willing to go out of her way to help everyone. In her time of need, we are asking for some assistance from her friends and family for her current needs and future expenses as well as the care of her son Josiah. Marissa is only 32 years old and has been a single parent to her only child for his entire life, while our whole family is shocked and devastated by our current circumstances none more than Josiah. He’s just turning 13 and losing his mom all at once. Anything will help, and everything is greatly appreciated. We have trusted in the Lord to provide for us and he always does.
