Hi all,

It’s been since February 26 since finding out I have cancer and it’s been a whirlwind since. What started as trying to figure out why we haven’t gotten pregnant , has now turned into a fight to save me. I was diagnosed with stage 1A Endometrial Cancer. With it being a low stage we thought “oh we’re good” but nah. Turns out not only was the cancer a more rare kind it did some crazy stuff under a microscope. My oncologist recommended getting surgery scheduled for a total hysterectomy. Considering we were trying to have kids that was just not an option to me. In the blink of an eye we started IVF meds and completed our egg retrieval. We have 2 boys and 1 girl waiting for us once we I am cancer free and can afford surrogacy.

Post hysterectomy l completed 6 rounds of chemotherapy and I’m so happy to close that chapter.

Next will be scans and finding out what is next. Paul has been the ultimate caretaker and has stayed close to my side through all of this. In September he lost his job and we’ve been making things work off what I’m getting from disability and now his unemployment. He’s looking for his next role but is also taking care of me.

I’m posting now because I’d be lying if I said we don’t need help. We definitely do. Anything will be used for paying for my medical insurance and the rest of our bills. Thank you in advance for any help and getting us to the finish line.
