Thank you for looking at my page! On 9/23/15 I was riding my bike home on the same path I always take (the wiggle) and somehow slipped and fell on the Muni tracks on 17th and Church. I have heard many horror stories about people falling on the tracks so I always took extra care to cross them perpendicularly. Well this day I wasn't so lucky. What I thought would just be a bruised ego, a few road rashes and maybe a sprained wrist turned out to be a crushed distal radius fracture of my left wrist and now I need surgery to put plates and screws in my arm. My surgery is taking place 10/5/15.

Since I am a bartender and need both my hands to work, I will be out of work for about 10 weeks recovering. In addition to not being able to pay rent in the most expensive city in the US, I will now have high medical bills to add to this disaster. I am relying on the kindness and generosity of my friends, family, and strangers to help me through this difficult time. Thank you very much for anything you are able to donate, even if its just words of encouragement. I will post updates after the surgery.
