Marissa Harris's Fight like a Girl Campaign

As many of you know Marissa Hernandez Harris has been my best friend since our first Geography class together at UTPA.  ( I won't say the year cause she'll get made at me)   I don't have enough words to describe to you the kind of selfless friend she is.  She held me up in my darkest moments, made sure that  my boys and I were always  taken care of. I can't even say how much she did for our family and never asked for anything in return.   I am forever grateful for her undying love for us.  She is also Mario Aden's Godmother. Not only did she help my family but she gives back so much to our community.   She has a soft spot for our many homeless residents of McAllen and has used her dance studio as a way to get the community to help out.   As many of you know Marissa was diagnosed with breast cancer in late January.  At the end of March she will be traveling to Houston to undergo surgery and radiation.  She will not be at work for at least a month if not until the end of the year.  I am asking that we all help her the way she has helped our community.  She will need travel expenses for both her and her family.  We also need to make sure her bills are taken care.  I don't want her to worry about anything.   I have to be honest, I feel so helpless.  This is the only way I know to help her the most.  If you can please donate to this amazing woman.
