In Remembrance of Marisa Uribe

Yesterday our dear friend and angel of St. John Neumann Parish passed away after a short but valiant fight with cancer. Sweet Marisa is now embraced in the arms of our Lord and comforted by our Blessed Mother. The angels are rejoicing at her presence, as we are, knowing she is no longer suffering.
As a gift of remembrance we want to raise funds to purchase a niche in the new Columbarium at St. John Neumann. Sweet Marisa had an indominitable spirit and could be seen accompanying her mother, Melanie, at church meetings and Sunday evening youth Mass. It is appropriate she be laid to rest here, and sometime in the future Melanie will be laid to rest with her daughter.
In addition to the cost of the niche, we hope to defray other costs of the funeral arrangements. The medical bills for the last six months will be burdensome enough.
