Hello, as some may know, my mother Marisa Pizarro, was diagnosed with severe liver failure a week before Thanksgiving of 2023. With a heavy heart, her children, family, and friends will be forced to say their goodbyes.

We as a family are navigating the unimaginable loss of Marisa, who was not just a parent but a source of love, guidance, and unwavering support. The weight of this grief is heavy and we are determined to give Marisa the farewell she deserves, despite the financial strain it brings.

Marisa was a beacon of love, resilience, and happiness. She welcomed every and anyone into her home with open arms and a warm meal. She would give the shirt off her back and the roof over her head if it meant taking care of someone she cared for. We as her children are determined to honor her memory by providing the farewell she desired.

Our goal is to raise $12,000 so we can give her the ceremony she desired and deserved in her hometown New York City. As well as reopening a plot so she can rest with her beloved Mother and Father as she wanted.
