Marisa KM's Medical Support

If you know Marisa, then you know her kindness, generosity and fierce dedication to all of our communities. She's been an advocate for so many in times of need, and now, she needs our support. During a trip, she fell and injured herself. An injury that resulted in her leg being broken in THREE places with a dislocated ankle. She is also currently uninsured. After battling the US Healthcare system for three weeks trying to schedule an emergency surgery (while her leg remained broken), she was finally able to have the procedure she desperately needed. She is now looking at 3-6 months of recovery, insanely large medical expenses, months of physical therapy and the inability to work.
