Marisa Blair's Brain Surgery Expenses

My name is Tere Gonzalez-Castillo, and I am here to humbly ask you to help me fundraise money for medical care for my best friend of 18 years: Marisa Blair.

If this is the first you are hearing that anything is going on with Marisa that warrants a GoFundMe, let me start by first telling you she is in stable condition. On December 7, 2021 Marisa suffered from a grand mal seizure. She was taken to the ER where her MRI and CT scan revealed a mass the size of an almond in her brain's left frontal lobe. Marisa will need to have an exploratory craniotomy and biopsy to help determine the best course of action.

These past few years I know we have all experienced fear, loss, and uncertainty in some unimaginable ways. Let’s come together and help Marisa focus all of her energy on fighting to recover and make sure money does not delay nor restrict her access to treatment. Please donate what you can, when you can. This is a woman who since I can remember has worked full-time in addition to studying and supporting herself, never once complaining about it. She is kind, sincere, bright and has her whole life ahead of her. She always gives of herself what she can to those in need and now it is her turn to receive some help.
