Mari's Pilgrimage to Rome

Hi there! My name is Mari Stankovsky, and I am a senior at Ave Maria University. This summer, I have the incredible opportunity to embark on a pilgrimage to Rome during the historic Jubilee Year, immersing myself in the rich history and beauty of the Catholic Church in Italy.

I have never had the chance to travel outside of the U.S., but I feel a deep and undeniable call to embark on this journey. After praying a nine-day novena to St. Thérèse—my best friend in heaven—she gifted me a rose, a beautiful sign that this is where God is leading me after graduation. I long to immerse myself in the richness of my Catholic faith, walk in the footsteps of the saints, and witness the breathtaking churches and sacred sites that have shaped Christianity for centuries.
