Mari's Kidney Transplant

Many of you may know my sister or, at the very least, know of her. She was diagnosed as a Type 1 diabetic at eight years old and has struggled with it. Too many of us understand how damaging Diabetes can be to your entire body. Two years ago, she started to go into kidney failure, and last year she went into complete End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) and has been on dialysis for quite some time. She has been put on the transplant list, started the process, and completed most of it. This is where you all come in. She can't complete the final steps (the actual transplant) without having the funds needed for the anti-rejection medications she will be on permanently. Medical insurance never covers as much as it should, so anything you can contribute will help. The sooner she reaches this goal, the sooner she can get this transplant. We've gotten her this far and need a little assistance to get her to this finish line.
