It is with a heavy heart that we share the sudden passing of our beloved Maria Isabel (our Mari) a beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished daughter, niece and supportive aunt who left us far too soon. She was kind-hearted, full of life, and deeply loved by all who knew her. She was diagnosed with late term stomach cancer within the last few months and took a turn for the worst this month.

It is hard to find the words to describe the loss of such a wonderful person like Mari . Her radiant soul was a source of strength. She was the backbone of her home, who worked hard to provide both financial and emotional support to the whole family. Mari was a loved school teacher in Guatemala and even opened up her own small business shop to help provide for her family. Her sudden departure leaves a void in the lives she touched and loved most. Mari leaves behind her two young children and a grieving husband. Who is now a widowed father supporting his children during this time.

While we do not usually ask for help, it is a deeply vulnerable time for our family. Mari’s loss was sudden and unexpected! Maria’s GoFundMe will help with:

Con gran pesar, compartimos el repentino fallecimiento de nuestra querida María Isabel (nuestra Mari), una esposa querida, madre devota, hija querida, sobrina y tía amada, quien nos dejó demasiado pronto. Era una mujer bondadosa, llena de vida y profundamente querida por todos quienes la conocieron. Le diagnosticaron cáncer del estómago en etapa avanzada en los últimos meses y su situación empeoró en las últimas semanas.

Es difícil encontrar palabras para describir la pérdida de una persona tan maravillosa como Mari. Su alma radiante era una fuente de fortaleza. Era el pilar de su hogar y trabajaba arduamente para brindar apoyo financiero y emocional a toda su familia. Mari era una querida maestra de escuela en Guatemala y abrió su propia pequeña tienda para ayudar a su familia. Su repentina partida deja un gran vacío en las vidas que más impacto. Mari deja atrás a sus dos hijos pequeños y a un esposo en duelo, quien ahora es un padre viudo que apoya a sus hijos durante este tiempo.
