Mario Celis - Study Abroad in Germany

Hello! My name is Mario Celis, a rising senior at Cristo Rey Jesuit College Preparatory School of Houston with High Honors, trying to study abroad next year. I am an active student, heavily involved in extracurriculars such as the National Honor Society, Boys & Girls Club, and Varsity Sports, and I am also a Cadet 2nd. Lieutenant in the U.S. Civil Air Patrol, the auxiliary and a humanitarian and education organization under the Department of the U.S. Air Force.

Recently, I was awarded an opportunity by Rotary Club to study abroad during my senior year. I'll be immersed in the German language and regular classes at a Gymnasium (German High School) while living with a host family, learning about a culture completely different from my own. This will be an amazing experience to get me started in my goal of international service, and I am asking for donations to help ease the burden on my family to cover the remainder of my tuition and out-of-pocket costs. Your donations will go directly toward airfare, tuition, visa fees, insurance, and any other costs related to student life events while abroad. Every cent will help me so much!
