Marion Marsh

Hello friends and family. I am looking to help one of my best friends who has been like a sister to me, Allyson Marsh. Her mother, Marion Marsh, was like my second mother and has recently passed away unexpectedly. Marion was an amazing woman. She was funny, sweet, and so kind hearted. She will be fiercely missed.

Marion worked hard in life and after 18 years working for a tech company, was laid off due to advancing technology that eliminated her position. After they laid her off, she went into great debt. Instead of being able to retire, Marion lost her home and had to get a job at a local grocery store. Most other places she had applied would not consider her due to her age or over qualification for different positions she applied.

Marion worked hard, never calling out, and was never late to her job. She had no idea if she would ever be able to retire as she was living paycheck to paycheck just to get by. When she didn’t call or show up to work on her scheduled day, they knew something was wrong. This was not like Marion. So her work called the police who found her in her apartment. Marion was gone.

Allyson, like her mother, is a hard working single mother. She also works hard to support herself and her son. She picks up extra shifts at work just so she can afford to pay for rent AND groceries every month. Allyson works in the medical industry helping others every day. She works selflessly so her son can have a good life.

Allyson is Marion’s only daughter and could really use your help and support. Marion had no savings and no plan for death, as she could barely afford life. I am looking to help Allyson raise enough money to help her afford funeral expenses. I would like to help her to pay rent this month so that she can afford to take off work and not have to worry if she will have to choose shelter over food this month. Anything you could contribute would help greatly.
