Due to Covid, we had to cancel our scholarship tea. We are a group of 35 women who work together to provide scholarships to women pursuing a degree in education. We are TEACHERS FOR TEACHERS.
We are members of Delta Kappa Gamma, an international society of key women educators. Every two years our chapter holds a tea to earn money for scholarships. We usually have over 100 guests and we provide lunch and a fashion show. At this tea, we earn enough money to provide 6 scholarships for students of Pasco Hernando State College and 4 scholarships to students of the New Teacher Academy of Pasco County Schools. These are awarded over a two year period.
NO TEA, NO SCHOLARSHIPS! We ask for your help to continue our scholarships! The young women who receive these scholarships are so appreciative and often tell us of the difficulties they have overcome and how our assistance made such a difference. With your help, we can continue our work.
