Unexpected Death of a Veteran, Father, Husband and Friend
Uniformed service members that serve, and especially deploy together, form a bond that goes far beyond a working relationship, you become family. His military family is deeply saddened to hear that Mario Welch passed away earlier this week leaving behind his wife Monique, daughter Jadiyah and son Jayven.
We are establishing this memorial fund to raise money to give to his wife and kids to help them get through this tragic loss in their lives.
2nd Platoon, C Company 4th BSTB, 10th Mountain Division "Ligers" will always remember Mario for his commanding presence in any room he walked in to. He would always look so tough until he broke out into that big smile and his laughter was contagious. He always kept his spirits high during our 14 month deployment to Iraq despite being away from his newborn son. 
I will never forget our fierce basketball games in 100 degree heat, even some nerf indoor HORSE matchups that were highly contested. 
He was a terrific Soldier and Leader and was proud to serve his country. Please help us support his family during this incredibly challenging time in their lives.
