My name is Coach Gabe Mendoza (PrimeXample NWFL/Emerald Coast Green Wave) and I am requesting your fundraising assistance on the behalf of the Jose and Maria Medina-Rodriguez family. The Medina-Rodriguez family has been a part of PrimeXample NWFL/Emerald Coast Green Wave Athletic Association since its inception. Over time, the Rodriquez boys (Jeremiah and Josiah) have thrived as football players (6U/12U) and Jose and Maria have been instrumental assisting with Green Wave concessions during home games, ultimately becoming close family friends. Tragically, on December 12th 2023, Maria's father Mario Medina (65) and her nephew Juan Angel Medina (15) were tragically murdered in a senseless act of violence in Chicago. Any financial assistance to the family will greatly assist in offsetting the costs of flights, funeral arrangements, and any unforeseen expenses that will be incurred as a result of this tragic situation, especially before the holiday season.
