Mario Altilio Marroquin born in Izalco, El Salvador December 27th, 1955 to David & Emma Margarita Solano Marroquin, passed away on July 16th, 2020 at the age of 64.
Mario immigrated to the United States with Nelly Segura the mother of his two beautiful daughters in 1979 and settled in Los Angeles, California shortly welcoming his first daughter Nancy Margarita Marroquin in October of 1980 and later Jennifer Adilia Marroquin in October of 1985, his daughters were his biggest joy in life and he work tirelessly his whole life to support and provide for his family at times taking on a second job in order to provide his princesses a better life.
Mario was a die hard Laker fan, and always looked backed fondly on the 1980 showtime years as well as the Kobe & Shaq championships in the 2000’s, he was also a big fan of classic rock and loved listening to the Eagles while sipping his Starbucks after his morning walks at North Hollywood Park. In 1999 Mario started his career with ABM in Century City and spent 21 years as one of the lead valets for the Sun America building one of the most exclusive address in California hardly ever missing a day or rarely taking a vacation, Mario was loved by all who knew him for his gentle kindness at work along with his great personality and charming smile, he considered all his coworkers and residents in the building his second family.
In 2001 Mario welcomed his first and only grandson Alec David Larese who soon became one of the biggest joys in his life, watching him grow up to be a smart amazing young man with a great heart who also adored his grandpa. Mario was selfless and gave everything in life to his two daughters and grandson, he is survived by his two adoring daughters Nancy & Jennifer Marroquin, older brother & younger sister, grandson Alec Larese and two son in-laws Ricky Morales and Oscar Garcia, Family who will miss him dearly The Riggeri, DeCarpio, and Segura Families.
