This week, my grandsons lost their father, Daniel Simpson, and our country lost a Marine who served it proudly and sacrificed much to protect us all. The boys are heartbroken, to say the least, and their mother, Devon Simpson, is trying to do all she can to protect them and build a path forward for the family.

While she is employed as a teacher and can provide a safe home for them, there are upcoming expenses and unpaid time away from work she will have to take so they can recover and travel to Colorado for remembrance services and time with family. Anything you can and are willing to contribute would help build a lifeline for their little family. There is another GoFundMe (https://gofund.me/ffdd685e) for his current wife and all the children, and we don't want to take away from them but realize he left others who cared deeply for him.
