Hi, my name is Keiron and I set up the Biological Recording Company to boost the opportunities for those interested in nature to contribute to and access the biological sciences.

marineLIVE is a series of webinars, YouTube videos and blogs that will showcase the work of marine biology researchers, making their research outputs accessible to amateur naturalists. Each live webinar features a guest marine biologist and includes a presentation followed by a Q&A with the speaker based on audience questions. The presentations are recorded and released via YouTube and embedded within blogs alongside a transcript of the Q&A and any useful links or references provided by the guest speaker. The live webinars, YouTube videos and blogs will all be completely free for all to access.

The costs to deliver these webinars include Eventbrite fees, speakers fees, Zoom costs and paying webinar assistants to help support the large audiences that attend the live webinars. The programme has no sponsors so the programme is reliant on the kind donations provided by those that can contribute.
