Marine Veteran & Family Lose Everything in Apartment Fire
Donation protected
On the morning of Wednesday May 14th, tragedy struck when my brother Andrew, a former U.S. Marine, lost everything in a devastating apartment fire. He, his girlfriend Lis, and her two young children, Angel and Abigail, narrowly escaped with their lives — but their home and every one of their belongings were destroyed.
This was their very first home together. A place where they were building memories, celebrating milestones, and creating a sense of safety and stability. In just moments, that was all taken away.
Among the most painful losses were Andrew’s Marine Corps memorabilia — symbols of his sacrifice, dedication, and years of service to our country — and irreplaceable keepsakes like baby photos, school awards, and drawings from Angel and Abby. These aren’t things that can be bought again. They were pieces of their history, their identity, their story.
Now, they are left with nothing but the clothes on their backs.
Andrew has always been the one to step up for others. He served our country with honor and has always been the first to lend a hand to friends, family, and even strangers in need. Today, we’re asking for help on his behalf — to give him, Lis, Angel, and Abigail a chance to rebuild their lives.
Funds raised will go toward:
• Immediate housing and essentials
• Replacing clothing, furniture, and personal items
• Supporting the kids with school supplies and emotional stability during this difficult time
• Helping this young family get back on their feet
Please consider donating, sharing, and sending your love their way. Any amount makes a difference, and your support means more than words can express.
Thank you for standing with them.
