Marine Dakota Pyatte
Donation protected
The young man you see is Dakota Pyatte. He is my nephew and at only 24 years old he took his own life last night. From the time he was a little boy he wanted to serve his country and was so proud to be a Marine. He served in Afganistan and ended up with a tramatic brain injury from an IED. I don't know what all Dakota experienced while he was there, it was very hard for him to share. He did give his life for his country because of what he experienced in Afganistan. Unfortunetly Dakota didn't have any life insurance and his family cannot afford to pay for his services and we contacted his local VFW and they do not have any funds available to help. Dakota comes from a long line of service members from all branches. I still see him as a blond headed little boy smiling up at his uncles as they talked about being in Desert Shield/Storm and Vietnam. He was his dad's booboo.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know there are alot of families out there with young men and women who are serving and know of the sacrifices they make. I pray that they never have to suffer this loss. Thank you doesn't cover the depth of gratitude we feel for your help. SEMPER FI
