During the loss of our mom, our hearts mourn as we reflect on the legacy our mother lived, the many hearts she touched, the deep faith she embraced, and the heavy crosses she carried with resilience. She gave so much of herself to others, even when life tested her strength. Her kindness, her laughter, and her love continue to live within us, reminding us that love never truly ends—it simply changes form.
There are moments in grief that shake our faith—times when we, like Doubting Thomas, find ourselves searching for proof that God is still near. But even in our tears, we are reminded of how Jesus met Thomas in his doubt, showing him His wounds not to prove pain, but to reveal love’s power over it and in that same spirit, we see our mother’s life as a reflection of that love—enduring, forgiving, and everlasting.
“Then He said to Thomas, ‘Put your finger here and see My hands, and bring your hand and put it into My side; and do not be unbelieving, but believe.’ Thomas answered and said to Him, ‘My Lord and my God!’ Jesus said to him, ‘Have you come to believe because you have seen Me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.’”
— John 20:27-29
As we carry the weight of this loss, we are also surrounded by compassion. Your prayers, messages, and stories have comforted us in ways we can never fully express. In moments like this, we are reminded that what truly holds us together is not tradition or place but love itself, the kind that bridges hearts across oceans and generations.
Many have reached out asking how they might honor her memory. Please know that your prayers, messages, and shared stories have already brought us so much comfort and peace. Your love has carried us through in ways words cannot describe.
If you feel moved to honor her memory, please know that your kindness—through prayer, words, or any gesture of love—is felt deeply and received with gratitude.
