Hi! We are group 10 fundraising for our short film, Marina. Our members are Henry, Libby, Blessing, Tin, and Hannah; this is our final year graduation project and the culmination of our three years of study, and we need your help to fund our vision.

Marina is a 15-minute film following our two main characters Marina and Noah. It is their anniversary, and each have booked a date for each other as we follow them navigating their day-to-day challenges as a couple, when it starts to go awry all comes crashing down in an emotional crescendo. We wanted to play with non-linear editing, slow exposure, and overlapping visuals to tell our story.

We wanted to make a visually engaging piece to explore the issues of love and loss in a moving, expressive way. We have taken inspiration from of our favourite movies, like Perfect Blue, Submarine, Chungking Express. It is a viscerally real story that blends cinematic techniques, lived experience and aesthetic qualities through our shared passion for filmmaking. From script to soundtrack, to logos and set, every element will be made by us, without AI or Stock assets.

Your funding will help pay our actors a fair wage, pay to use and support our local independent locations in Bristol, and to make sure all elements of the film are high quality. This film really means something to us, and we want to deliver you a moving piece of art. Any donations no matter the size are appreciated! Any additional funds will be used to enter our work into film festivals and distribution to show our art to the widest audience possible.
