Hello Friends and Family,
We write to you today with amazing news and a request for support in what will undoubtedly be a milestone life experience for our girls.
Last weekend, our Marin Juniors 11U Black volleyball team won their regional championship tournament and in doing so, won a bid to the national championships in Detroit, MI this coming June. Whether you're an athlete, former athlete or just a fan of one of these amazing girls, you can imagine the joy and excitement they all felt upon winning the tournament and learning that they had qualified for Nationals - a cinderella story of sorts.
Suffice to say, we find ourselves scrambling due to the fact that our team was qualified this past weekend in Sacramento. This puts a time and financial strain on all the parents, as flights are at their most expensive and likewise hotels. For some this is no problem, however, for most it is a challenge.
Therefore, we are writing to ask for any contribution you feel comfortable making. Whether it's $10 or $100, anything will help relieve the financial strain, cover the cost of our coaches travel, and will enable all the girls to enjoy this amazing experience. Each girl has a goal of raising at least $250.
Thank you in advance for your support!
With love,
The Marin Juniors 11U Black Volleyball team
