Marin City Community Learning Hubs

Dear Community,

We are working with the Willow Creek Academy Education Team, the Marin City Community Services District, Bridge the Gap College Prep, Play Marin, Conscious Kitchen, Marin City Library and other community partners on setting up Community Learning Hubs here in Marin City for our students who need additional support to succeed in the distance learning environment.  These hubs will prioritize students who struggled with distance learning last Spring, low income, foster care, and English Language Learner children from Marin City and Sausalito to ensure academic success for all.  With these Community Learning Hubs, we aim to provide academic support, social emotional support, and enrichment activities including outdoor activities and 1:1 tutoring. 

To support this effort we need your help with funding for:
 - Supervisory Staff
 - Space and Equipment
 - Enrichment Programs

Starting September 8th we will be supporting approx. 20 7th and 8th grade students for one month.  Based on shifting Public Health guidance we may extend the program beyond that date and to more grades.

Please help fund this incredibly important effort and help bring our students equitable education in this extraordinarily challenging time.
