My son, Boyce Jeffries, is going to begin his doctorate in percussion at the University of Toronto in Canada.

I would like to send him off with a special gift. My son's former percussion professor is selling his five octave marimba. I cannot think of a better gift for my son to enjoy, not only while he pursues his doctorate, but during his future career in music.

It will be something special he will treasure for a lifetime. Everytime he plays this beautiful instrument, he will be reminded of thisinspiring individual and all that he has done to set my son on his path.

The fundraising goal is to cover the cost of the instrument and the purchase of cases for its transport.
