Our goal is to raise money for her on-going medical expenses. Marilyn has dealt with breast cancer twice, has had 23 surgeries, and has had three major hospitalizations for serious illnesses.
Her last surgery was in Chicago a year ago. After being diagnosed with two brain tumors, the doctors in Montana were in disagreement how to proceed. After several months she flew to Chicago and had a brain specialist remove a large skull tumor. The second tumor, on her brain stem, is being carefully monitored.
She has finally reached the end of her financial resources with a knee replacement surgery coming up on February 20, 2017.
We would like to help her with her deductible, her out-of-pocket expenses, her medical premiums, and her loss of wages as she will be of work for 4-6 weeks.
She is a self-employed counselor who helps others with acute and chronic medical issues, grief and loss, anxiety, depression and many other issues. She has no sick days or medical leave as she is self-employed. We would like to raise twenty thousand dollars to help her "get back on her feet" after this surgery.
