Marilyn's Medical and Recovery expenses

My name is Edwin Stock. I am raising money to help cover the costs associated with my Wifes Marilyn Stock's Medical and Recovery expenses.

For those who do not know, on the evening of September 17, my Wife suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm. She was rushed to the Hospital in Farmington, NM, and upon finding the cause of her sudden illness, she was immediately airlifted to UNM Hospital in Albuquerque.

Upon arrival at UNM, she was immediately stabilized and prepped for surgery. She was in surgery for 4 1/2 hours. They were able to find and fix one large aneurysm that had ruptured. They also found another small aneurysm deeper in her brain that was not bleeding. They decided to leave that one alone, for now, to get her stabilized and her blood pressure under control, then they can return to it at a later date if needed. She is currently in the Neuroscience ICU and will be for some time.

She is still intubated and under heavy sedation to control her vitals and breathing.

So I am now off work to be by her side.

Medical Bills are mounting quickly, travel, lodging and living expenses are expensive, and there are still the everyday bills at home to keep up with. With both being off work, we must pay our insurance premiums to keep our insurance active.

Doctors have informed me that this will be a several months long ordeal.

We want our Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother back home with us.
