Marilyns’ Heart Transplant

Hi my name Corey. This past January Marilyn and I welcomed our newest addition to the family with the birth of our son. Everything went as well as we could have hoped until May. It was around that time that Marilyn started feeling a lil off. When she went to go get checked out we were informed that she had developed a condition known as Postpartum Cardiomyopathy which is a form of heart failure that can develop in a woman after giving birth. We hoped for the best, changed our lifestyle our eating habits and stayed on top of the meds. Everything seemed to be moving in the right direction with her recovery. This was until August when her heart took a turn for the worst and she regressed. This is when we were informed that there was nothing else that could be done and she would need a heart transplant. I’ve started this GoFundMe to try and get some help with her medical bills, prescriptions, child care, stay at home nurse for after the transplant and try and cover some lost wages for when I have to miss work for doctors appts and what not. Unfortunately I used up all of my PTO for the year when our baby was born and her first stint in the hospital back in May. Any help is greatly appreciated while we tackle this latest obstacle in our lives. Thank you.
