On February 14th 2023 my 22 year-old daughter Marilyn O’Leary had an unfortunate accident on a scooter. She fractured her jaw in two places. After an initial surgery input two plates and wired the jaw in place to heal, we are now looking at the next steps. In the accident she also lost most of her molars and cracked almost all of her teeth. The bone fractures are healing well, and we will soon start the process of implants and crowns. That said, these dental repairs are not cheap. Given that health insurance has a gap in dental coverage we’re facing a $10,000 need.
