Marilyn Louise- Gene Spratt Brooks

Marilyn was a bright soul that suffered from a terrible alcohol disease causing stage 4 liver cirrhosis. Her whole body shut down on her almost immediately. After a week of life saving options, we did not want her to suffer anymore. Despite the demons that Marilyn faced, she shined brightly to show love to her family, friends, and strangers. Marilyn has donated to the wounded warriors project, the ASPCA and to St Jude hospital for children with cancer for years. Marilyn believed that love is the ultimate way of life no matter the road that life has given you. She would have given you the shirt off her back if you had come into her life without one. Marilyn was a second mom, friend, and a stranger off the street who cared. This go fund me is going to help my brother Karl and I pay for her cremation, and memorial services, and any expenses that are included in making sure Marilyn has a beautiful and comfortable celebration of life. Marilyn passed peacefully on her birthday, 2/25/24, sometime after noon, alongside her good friend Howard, who says she reminds him of his late wife, who was full of love and life as well.
