Marilyn Jager Kids College Fund
Donation protected
As we are still reeling from the untimely and sudden passing of my sweet sister in law, Marilyn Muir Jager, I scramble to find how best to direct my efforts and help ease the inevitably difficult avenue that lies ahead for my brother and his children. Cole 16, Claire 15, and Lauren 12 have only just begun their young paths and now they are left without the direction of their biggest champion and supporter. They are left without their Mother, they are left without their best friend, they are left without their provider.
Marilyn had been in the best shape of her life at the age of 52, only to have her doctors utter that destructive word 6 weeks ago..."cancer". Marilyn was bound and determined that life would resume, as usual. She fought that label with every fiber of her being until the very end. As the days turned into weeks and the cancer became more and more aggressive, the emergencies became more frequent and Marilyn's body began to concede, but her spirit never lost hope. And on October 17, 2016 Marilyn returned to her Father in Heaven on the dawn of her 53rd birthday.
As many of you, I am heartbroken. She was much too young and too vibrant to be gone so soon. I have desperately wanted to take away the hurt and pain that I have witnessed while staying with the Jagers over the past several weeks. I am grateful to have been able to 'mourn with those that mourn; yea, and comfort those that stand in need of comfort". At this time, as reality is setting in and bills are piling up, I would like to establish a memorial in Marilyn's name on behalf of the children. There was little of more importance to Marilyn than her children and their education. I would like to honor Marilyn by gathering donations for Cole, Claire, and Lauren for college as they are currently knocking on that doorstep. Please, help if you are able and give these incredible kids the gift of peace of mind.
