Marilyn Boll's Recovery

Hi, my name is Angela Guenther. I created this fundraiser to help my mom, Marilyn Boll, through a very difficult time. At the end of October 2024, Marilyn had a heart attack which led to her having a quadruple bypass surgery on Dec 2. She goes home today, following a 10-day hospital stay in which she endured multiple scares such as going in and out of AFIB repeatedly, needing a blood transfusion, and developing an infection in her leg.

In April of this year, Marilyn was off work for 5 months due to having a total knee replacement. She returned to work this fall with a plan to retire at the end of this year. Due to her knee replacement, heart surgery, and her husband being on strike as he works for Canada Post, they have no income coming in. They also don't have full benefits right now and the cost of meds to help with her added complications pre and post-surgery to keep her alive is a major stress and burden.

There have been a series of other unfortunate events for Marilyn's family this year and with her huge heart for others, this has caused so much added worry. If there is any way to help her with the financial stress right now, it will help her enormously so that she can focus on her health and healing through this incredibly difficult time.
