Marilee’s Memorial Fund

Dearest friends and family members,

 

My name is Taryn, and I am running this fundraiser on behalf of the Hart family. Any little donation helps. All funds go towards the memorial service.

 

It is with a heavy heart that we let you know that Marilee Hart left this Earth on the afternoon of May 5th. She was surrounded by her children, Josh, Alex, and Jill, as she passed in her own home. Although this was expected, it was also very sudden and heart-wrenching for her family. She was a fighter all her life, right up to the very end. She was like a mother to me here in Utah and a wonderful, amazing woman. She was passionate about many things in her life. She was an avid advocate for assisting the hearing impaired; a master knitter/crotcheter; an animal-lover; and all-around caring, pure, individual.

 

Some of you have reached out and asked how you can help during this time. Know that your kindness is much appreciated as we navigate this heartbreaking moment. We kindly ask, if you are able to, to donate funds towards the funeral service, as the family hopes to carry out all of Marilee’s final wishes.

Marilee is survived by her three children, Josh, Alexander and Jillian Hart, her granddaughter Vivian, her brothers Michael Black, Donald (Joanne) Black, Russell Black, and her sister Barby (Lowell) Shelley. She will be missed greatly by everyone she touched the lives of. The loss of her has left a great void in everyone’s hearts but the love and amazing memories she left everyone will carry on for generations.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, May 13, 2022 at the Millstream Ward Chapel. 3400 South 1100 East, Millcreek, UT. The family will greet family and friends from 9:30 - 10:30 am prior to the services at the church. Internment Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
