Hello everyone! My mother, Mariko, has always been a pillar for our small family. Whether it be before or after school, she was the one we could count on for a warm meal and a loving smile. She was the one who patched us up when we got hurt. Wherever she went, she was always the brightest, bubbliest, and kindest soul in the room. She was diagnosed in June with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer (Adenocarcinoma of the Pancreas). She fought hard until the end, but sadly she passed away on September 26, 2018 at the age of 54. In order to take care of her, I was forced to quit my job. Now, as we try to arrange her funeral we are starting to grasp the enormous cost of our situation. We just want to make sure our beloved mother, aunt, sister, and friend can finally rest and find peace close to home. I am not used to asking for this kind of help and I know it’s a lot to ask for, but we would be so greatful and appreciative if you could donate anything, no matter how small. Thank you so much.
