Marie's Celebration of Life

My mom was truly a fighter. Over 8 years ago, she was first diagnosed with Leukemia. Our family didn't know if she was going to be able to see us graduate, get married or have our own children. She never stopped fighting and not only was she able to kick cancer's behind, but she also ran a half marathon after only a year of being in remission. She was able to see my younger sister graduate from high school and she was sitting front row when I received my Associate's degree. Since then, she was re-diagnosed with Leukemia and after about 6 months of tooth and nail fighting she passed away in January 2018 due to complications with her stem cell transplant. I owe everything to my mom and I want to honor her life to the best of my abilities, but being a college student, working several jobs to make ends meet I don't have the means to do so.

Any sort of donation would be appreciated so that I can try to provide my mom with a proper memorial. All donations will be used to hold a modest celebration of life for my mother in the Spring of 2018.  Condolences and words of support are most welcome and can be sent to [email redacted].
