If  you have been lucky enough to spend time with Marie, you have glimpsed God. All her life, all her interactions have pointed those around her to the eternal Father, to eternal Love...

On Monday, the unthinkable happened: first an episode of apraxia (unable to speak) followed within hours with a diagnosis of a brain tumor.  Marie's reaction was so very typical for her. She worried about her daughter, her family, her clients, and the bills she would not be able to pay; but not once did she mention herself.

This coming Wednesday morning, Marie will endure a 8-plus hour surgery to remove as much of the tumor as possible. Chemotherapy will be needed afterwards. Marie is the only breadwinner in this family, and she is self-employed.  There will be no worker's comp, nor is there a safety net of savings to fall back on.  True to her nature and her call, she gives all away trusting God to provide provide for her needs.

Pray for her doctors and surgeon, that God guide his hands and illuminate his mind with the best course of action.  Pray for her complete and miraculous recovery.
