Hope has landed in my life again. In the past two years my health has been deteriorating, the Danish Health System has given up on me and therefore we sent my MRI-scans to a conference at a Neurosurgical institute in Barcelona. The conclusion, they made, is that I have ”Filum Disease” which means that I have a tethered spinal cord which is pulling out my cerebellum (part of the brain) into my spinal cord. The wonderful news is that they can help me with a surgery in November.

Other Danes have had the same procedure abroad, simply because they don’t do the operation and don’t want to refer us to this surgery abroad.

The Danes I have talked with, have had a significant positive outcome from the operation, and many of them get so much strength back in their legs that they get out of their wheelchair again. My biggest dream is to get my youth back again.

I have intense pain 24/7, it’s very painful and I can only hold my head up for 3 hours at a time.

My vision has been blurred, I’m losing more and more strength in my arms and legs and I’m now unable to walk up and down stairs. Some of my bad days I can only lay in my bed and sometimes I feel as if I dont even have enought strength to breathe properly. It’s obvious to me that it’s only getting worse for every month that passes by. Therefore, it’s crucial that I have this procedure done asap to stop the negative development of the disease in my spinal cord and to reduce the amount of permanent irreversible damage to my body and prevent me from becoming paralyzed.

This is where you guys come into the picture, I urgently need your donation to help pay for this surgery, because we must pay for it ourselves.

The Price is 20.000 EURO and my mum can’t raise the whole amount by herself, so therefore we have made this donation collection to help me get my surgery, so that I dont end up getting paralyzed which is worse case scenario.
