Marie-Josée Lamontagne's cancer treatments
Donation protected
Marie-Josée had her first diagnostic in 2014, aggressive breast cancer. She began the strongest chemotherapy and radiation treatments and battled through over 8 surgeries since then. Hers is a story of hope for all cancer patients who received a cancer diagnosis and given only a few months to live. She's survived and will continue to fight, but she need of additional treatments and needs our help.
She is a mother of 2 beautiful boys and she wants to be there for them more than everything. Her husband, Sebastien, is a veteran of the Canadian Forces. They are a very active and sportive family, always there for everybody and always ready to start a new.
In 2017, Marie-Josée had 18 lymph nodes removed, 17 with cancer and her breast cancer status changed to triple negative, the most aggressive form of breast cancer. Now, the plan is to go for a treatment outside of Canada. The cost will be 8 000$ for each cycle of chemo treatment and she will need a minimum of 8 treatments...she could need more.
Throughout it all, Marie-Josée has always stayed positive and never given up on the possibility of healing from this terrible illness. She is a tremendous example of determination and courage. From the beginning her and her family have always tried to be there for others, helping to support and providing encouragement and advice to anyone facing the same terrible illness.
Please consider to support her and she will be able to continue to give hope and help to those who are facing the same challenge!
