Our beautiful, kind and caring MC is unwell, and her and her family need our help.

For the most part of the last year MC had been facing various health issues. This led her to the very hard decision of indefinitely shutting the doors to her pole studio last year in August, and therefore a loss of income to her family.

As each month since then has passed, her health has continued to deteriorate with multiple systems of the body presenting different issues and beginning to dysfunction.

From gastroenterologists to cardiologists, endocrinologists and psychologists, regular GP visits, this has required a lot of time, effort and money.

Most recently on the 24th of March, MC was diagnosed with Myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) and has since been predominantly bed ridden. It’s crazy and heartbreaking to think that our favourite pole dancing instructor, life loving and always smiling MC can now barely get out of bed and requires assistance for all her basic needs.

Through this journey she has found solace in Jesus Christ and says without whom she does not know how she would cope. He has placed people in her life to help her and guide her during this time and she is so unbelievably grateful for this.

We have discussed that this diagnosis is not the end of our search for answers. We are so positive that there is something underlying that has not picked up on yet and we are willing to do extensive testing and reach out to all different avenues of medical help in order to find out what it is and restore her to her old, energetic self.

In saying this, further private testing and meetings with other specialists, as well as costs of current trialing medications comes at a big cost and one that has led to the decision to fundraise.

Jaye is working multiple jobs as well as organising the Airbnb studio to support the family during this time and this is a huge weight to carry. Our Horsham community has been unbelievable in the generosity and care they have shown for this family in the form of meals, school pick up, care for MC and the countless prayers and the family are so thankful.

Any money raised will be going towards further investigation into what has made MC so unwell as well as help with the financial costs to the family in doing so.

I’m sure with everyone’s help, this page can be shared far and wide, even over to MC’s homeland in Canada.
